I was roasting cacao today when my weekly banana bread salesman showed up with the customary Tico whistle. I offered him some of my smoothie (bananas, ice, milk, peanut butter, coconut oil, sunflower seed, coconut oil - in case you're curious) and a roasted cacao bean.

Last night there was a very poisonous snake called a terciopelo (fer-de-lance viper in English) sitting on the lunch tables in the staff area here at Envision. It was beheaded, used in a prayer, skinned for the temple, cooked and eaten! #JungleLife
